01

HOW TO PERFORM IT

Make every rep comparable.

SetupStand with the bar close to your legs, hinge at the hips and brace your trunk. Choose a torso angle you can reproduce across the full set.

ExecutionRow the bar toward your torso while keeping your body position stable, then lower it under control until the arms extend again without turning the movement into a rising torso swing.

Key cueKeep the torso still and let the elbows do the rowing.

02

WHAT TO TRACK

Record more than the weight.

Log load, repetitions and RIR while keeping the hip hinge and torso position consistent across your working sets.

03

HOW TO PROGRESS

Change one useful variable at a time.

Avoid turning added weight into extra torso momentum. Increase load only when the same rowing position and control are maintained.
