HOW TO PERFORM IT
Make every rep comparable.
SetupSet the seat so you can reach a comfortable depth without your hips rolling away from the pad. Place both feet securely on the platform and keep the setup consistent between sessions.
ExecutionLower the platform under control until you reach your chosen depth, then press through the feet to extend the legs without bouncing out of the bottom position.
Key cueUse the same depth on every rep you want to compare.
WHAT TO TRACK
Record more than the weight.
Use the same seat position and foot placement when possible, then record load, repetitions and RIR for each working set.
HOW TO PROGRESS
Change one useful variable at a time.
Build repetitions inside your target range before adding weight, while keeping depth and pelvis position consistent.
